Arie Janissen was born in Amsterdam where he got his musical education at Gehrels Volksmuziekschool and where he took piano lessons. He played in several groups, school performances, weddings etc.
A few years ago he got an accordeon from Hanneke so he had to take lessons and since 2007 he enthusiasticly plays the bass accordeon in the accordeon orchestra "Les Musiciens Joyeux".
He has been a fanatic table tennis player for many years. (And he still is today!)
During the performances with the Crazy Dutch Regulars he plays the harmonium and sometimes the accordeon.
