Annique first joined a children’s choir at the age of five, following in her brother’s footsteps. Here, she had the privilege to perform with many national and international stars such as Frans Bauer, Lee Towers and Celine Dion.
At the age of seven, she decided to develop her dancing skills more and took up lessons such as street dance, tap-dance, hip-hop, jazz and classical ballet. Wanting more to do with music still, she also took up lessons in playing the viola at the age of eight.
This all led up to her acceptance to the prestige preparatory training programme The MusicAllFactory, which specialises in musical performances, written especially for the programme.

She also took drama and music lessons at secondary school and joined in the school productions ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat’, ‘Hair’ and ‘Oliver’ together with Esmeralda. They also wrote a production together in their exam year called Ex-it!
After graduation she was thrilled to hear she was accepted to a highly acclaimed bachelor programme at the dance academy in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Here, she studied musical theatre. This season she is also starring in the musicalhit Oliver!
Annique enjoys writing her own songs and has already had fruitful collaborations with Joy and Esmeralda. For instance, in 2001 Joy and Annique won a composing contest, which led to them performing in the Town Concert Hall with a full wind orchestra.
Annique has been a member of the Crazy Dutch Regulars since the beginning.
